Four trainers, two each from U Thrive Europe and International Arts Center, met for a 3-day training and exchange of expertise in Brussels, Belgium. The training took place in the period 7-9 June, 2023. The first day of the activity was devoted to external lectures provided by private coaches and EU officials. They also met with European Commission officials who talked about the Climate Pact, and the EC’s efforts to ameliorate the impact of climate change and pollution on the environment and on public health. The remaining two days consisted of expertise exchange between the 4 trainers who worked on mixing different methods of working with women and creating novel multidisciplinary methodologies.

In addition to treating us with warm and sunny weather, Brussels provided us with the opportunity to visit an eco-friendly restaurant with an attached allotment and a hen house. The restaurant prepares meals from its own agricultural produce, and is a true little oasis in the heart of Brussels.
